Sunday 17h30 The problem found on the car was the right rear axle that broken while the car was running in 2-nd position on his category. David Shep explained us what happenned exactly last night.

11-th hour

The #83 Seikel MotorSport Porsche is officially out of the race with gearbox failure when running into the 2-nd place at GT class. We want to thank everybody for the support messages and for staying close on our site. You'll have soon the interviews and more pictures from the first 10 hours of the race.

11-th hour

No news of the car yet. It is still at Indianapolis corner.

10-th hour

Bad news for our fans ! The car got in trouble and is blocked at the Indianapolis corner. David Shep, the driver tried to bring it back to the pits but couldn't. Peter Seikel, with Bernd, chief mechanic moved in place at about 03h15 and are looking to fix the problem on place. The main objective now is to get the car into the garage and change the clutch system.

10-th hour

After a two stint-driving from Tony BURGESS, the car is driven now by David Shep which started his stint at 01h45. No problems for the cars, the weather is fine, not too hot, that allows the team to put some softer compound Yokohama tyres on the car. After an refueling stop at 00h35 and a driver change stop at 01h45, the next stint is scheduled to begin at around 03h00 with Andrew Bagnall. The car is running in 5-th place in the LMGT category and 26-th place overall. Stay close for the next news and pictures !

7-th hour

The # 28 car has just made a new pit stop for drivers change (Tony BURGESS now in the car), a new set of tyres and for refueling. No problems, the race still goes on. In the class standings the Seikel Motor Sports car is in the 5-th place actually.

7-th hour

Andrew Bagnell is into the car now as the night gets over circuit de la Sarthe. It's the official ACO "lights on" now. Andrew took over the car from David Shep. The car is still in fourth place at GT class with no problems so far. Next pitstop scheduled at around 23h35. Tony BURGESS is preparing now. Interview with David Shep.

Yet another stint for the #83 Seikel Motorsport Porsche. The car is moving up into positions. Actually the car is running in fifth place on GT category ant 28-th place overall. David Shep has just replaced Tony BURGESS. There is no problem for the car, everything is happening as scheduled.

6-th place in the GT category

4-th hour

The car comes for routine pitstop. Tony BURGESS is taking back the steering wheel from Andrew. New tyres and fuel. Right after the stop, the safety car went onto the track. The #83 Porsche is running in 8-th place on GT Class and 34-th overall. It had a good constant run until now.

3-rd hour

David Shep ends his stint. Very hot temperatures during the race. He is very tired and dehidratated. The car is running well, 8-th position in his class with Andrew Bagnell now on board for around 15 laps.

2-nd hour

The end of the first stint and the first pitstop for the #83 Porsche. David SHEP is the next at the wheel of the car. He went on the track. The race is going on without problems for the car. Actually, the car is going in the 8-th position at the LM GT category and in 36-th position overall.

The start of the race for the 2003 Le Mans 24h race happened in good conditons for the Seikel Motorsport #83 Porsche. Tony BURGESS was the driver to begin the race for the team for a 15 laps stint. No problem for the car after one hour of racing.
